Looking for a link to Fish and crustacean limits in Ireland anyone know of one :?:

There are some size limits, and there has been a lot of discussion on the site so a search option might help...... might. There has also been a lot of confusion as well.... so you might pull up mixed information. As far as I know, with the exception of Bass, there isn't a size limit for each species of fish "from the shore"..... There are various size limits for each species of you are commercial fishing, but not if you are pleasure angling.... <b> I Think</b>

There are a couple of lads on the site that work for the fisheries, so maybe a bit more info might be forthcomming.

Go to the bottom of this page and you'll see a link for the friendly guide to technical conservation measures - sizes are in there as far as I remember otherwise they are on EU regs site.

Sea Species(25) bass, codling, whiting, turbot, seatrout, stingray, pollock, coalfish, longspine scorpion, ballan wrasse, dogfish, ling, pouting, poor cod, dab, mackerel, smelt, sandeel, launce, bull huss, painted ray, thick lip mullet, golden grey mullet, rock goby.
Fresh Water (2) brown trout, sea trout

Fantastic Pete just what I was looking for and if its good enough for the commercial fisherman It will do me.
Had a good look at the different sizes on the bim pdf file and thought you'd throw most of that back anyway not worth keeping?
