Catch and Release:: Yes as always

Report:

Headed to portaferry to try to catch the high tide and slack water. arrived to find a load of terns diving into the water, and looked to be fry at the surface the larger gulls were just going on by though so maybe not??? Got out the feathers and had a few casts towards the birds, nothing happening so set out the bait rods with mack crab and squid.
Was calm enough for an hour or so bit of wind. Then out of no where a full on gale came on the gear went over, and a mad dash to stop other stuff getting blew away!!! weighted the tripod and stuck it out for a while but made it impossible to fish, was blowing spray up the face of the pier and soaking us on top lol.

stopped by a chippy and watched some trawlers offload in portavogie

the on to bangor pier, cast out nothing happening, thought id give "dangling" a go! great fun lol was using a light rod with braid and good scrap out of the odd pout. Turned up a Tadpole fish and a Topknot 2 new species and quite rare so i was happy enough :D. No runs on the conger gear :( will have to try again think the weather didnt help things, sea was very rough
