For general beach fishing(for all species) using rag,lug or mackerel what is your favored rig?Any websites, photos or diagrams displaying these rigs would be much appreciated! Cheers

My favorite rig is probably a 2 or 3 hook flapper with one snood usually below the weight! Try this link to the tips & tricks for shore anglers page http://www.sea-angling-ireland.org/bull ... php?t=7724
there should be enough info there on how to make rigs and tie knots etc :)

1 up 1 down always does the trick..snood length varies!!! also 2 up, 2up 1 down,3 up...they are most sucessful for me...

Sinlge hook unclipped 6/0 packed with a good bass mouthful..!

I think sometimes people get too caught up in their rigs and over complicate things.

Very often im up to my waist in water and its easier to rebait one hook this way than multiple hooks. You also know if you get one good take and miss it that you bait is probably gone and you need to change.
It also allows me to unhook a bass with ease without worring about other hooks.

my fovourite rig at the mo is three hook flapper made with four way beads. i wnet through a phase of using all clipped rigs  but now im back to the good old flappers

get yourself a couple of good shop rigs, for example the mustad, gemini or greys range and copy them thats the way i first started

3 hook flapper with 18 inch body and 6 inch snoods for most fishing or pulley for ray, huss or dogs , hook size depends on bait/ target fish size 2 for scratchin 2/0 bass /cod , 4/0 animals . sometimes use clipped down for cod if using big baits
