People:me and Papa Smirff

Duration: 7 hrs

Tide: high around 5:30pm (ish)

Weather:strong wind from behind

Bait:mack, squid sandeel

Rigs:various

Results: 2 turbot

Catch and Release:: No

Report:long slow day so i left papa smirff on the beach to fish the rocks.. (big mistake) the wind was running down the channel hard and fast.. there was also pot markers running the length of where fishing marks are.. long walk back :? :? ...

met slowarm on the beach as well.. after a little chat i moved back to my mark and started chucking lead for a while.. soon after papa smirff pulled out a nice size turbot which took a 3/0 pennel and a full fillet of mackerel :shock: .. both hooks were well down to in to the bag it went...
gave papa smirff a few tips on casting and we decided to call it a day around 7.. he decided to pull in yet another turbot.. same again pennel and fillet of mack, deep hooked...

this was my first blank since 28th feb.. :shock:

Well at least he called you "sir"! Probably first time anyone's ever called you that... :lol:
Its called fishing, not catching. If it was called catching it wouldn't be fishing!
