People:me

Duration:12-2pm

Tide:dropping

Weather:lovely

Bait:rag

Rigs:sliding float, fished 10-12 feet

Results:5 coalies

Catch and Release:: Yes

Report:i wasn't too optimistic about catching much as orlock has been fishing slow so far this year. but as the weather is so good at the minute i couldn't sit in the house. i didn't get a touch for half an hour then my float sunk under, i hit it and resulted in a nice wee coalie. my overall result of 5 fish didn't tell the story, every cast my float was going under and i missed alot of bites. on another day it could and should have been 20+ coalies but thats fishing sometimes. maybe my striking action is a little rusty from previous blanks. nothing massive to report, fish ranged from 24cm-32cm. good wee session. :D

Only ever fished the two spots at Orlock Rab01 but both have given me resonable amounts of fish. Plenty of coastline to try and so close to home. I think it might be a regular spot during the summer even if its just a drop-in for 1/2 hr on the way to other marks. :D
