#1 Post by alby »

People:Me & Robbie

Duration: 8:30 - 12:00

Tide: from high down

Weather: mild, slight easterly

Bait: lug, rag, peeler & sandeel

Rigs: various flappers

Results: codling, whiting, plaice, coalies & rockling

Catch and Release:: Yes

Report:
Brought my mate Robbie out for his first attempt at sea fishing, will also be his last as he managed to destroy my Grauvell Zeus :x Fished the wall for comfort as Croppyboy had caught a few fish there early in the week. Got bites straight away and double and treble shots were the norm, especially over the top of the tide. The fish weren't massive but great for Robbie to catch a few fish, he caught a double shot of a decent rockling and whiting first cast and I told him he would have finished about third or fourth in last weeks master angler comp with that alone, he's said he's goin to dominate it next year, he can use his own tackle!!!

He also lost a nice fish which got around to the rocks on the right hand side, savage bite and a run but was stuck fast. A most enjoyable evening :D
