People: myself and Midget

Duration:er.. casting for a few hours then actually fishing for about an hour

Tide:rising

Weather: clear with a SW wind

Bait:mackerel.. it would be ashamed to be called a mackerel by the state of it

Rigs:2 hook flappers

Results:doggie and a flounder

Catch and Release:: Yes

Report: went casting to see if i could improve technique a bit more and midget arrived with a couple of rigs and what i was told was mackerel... after an hour or so of casting it was time to put the rigs into the water.. midget had a nice bang to his rod which he didnt see :roll: soon after he brought in a nice doggie...

i nearly had a doggie.. but of a different kind..how ever i did manage to catch the owner.. silly old biddy walked straight into my line.. and a second later her old biddy friend proceeded to do the exact same thing :roll: :roll: ...
after all the commotion i noticed a nice little running tap tap tap of a flattie :) ..
pulled in a nice little flounder..

managed to put my knee out of place again (serves me right for trying to drop kick midget :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops: )
ah well one day i will learn :roll:

well i told him to bring a rod rest/tripod.. guess what he shows up with...

My missus just spotted your pic, after she had finished shrieking, she asked...."Is that hairy bloke showing off a fish or his rod....??"

Answers on a postcard please...... :wink:

LOL... Yeah right... :wink: :D Tried my best to catch something of note last night to have a pic taken with my own new zippy.... End result was a shore rockling of 8 inches at best. It was however the first slug I ever had so somewhat saved the night.
