People:me, the girlfriend, few others

Duration:2hrs

Tide:rising

Weather:overcast

Bait:ragg,macky

Rigs:one hook flappers

Results:five wrasse, one rockling

Catch and Release:: Yes



Report:
went camping with the family, brought the kids down fishing an hour, my nephew caught three wrass - no real size, I caught two wrasse, one about five pound and my girlfriend caught a specimen rockling. Not a bad session!

species. bass,pollock,conger,withing,blue whiting,dogs,3b rockling,cod,coaley,dab,wrasse,SMOOTHIE,flounder,plaice,tope,red gurnard,blue shark,mackrel,fresh water eel,pouting,and a nice 6lb lobster,scad,huss,corkswin wrasse.

considering the blanks im doing at the moment in north clare - thats a great session for 2 hours!

good fishing I've always fished the beach o rocks at doolin for bass / flats, but haven't had much look with either in recent years, although I have stopped fishing it at night after a few hairy moments on the "shifting" sands of Doolin.

Might have to change tactics next time!
