have kinda been planning this trip for a few days now.unfortunately the weather had other ideas.all day had seen a fresh sw wind blowing, not perfect for the intended mark...after much deliberating i decided i would chance it and fish the same mark i fished wednesday. on arrival i discovered this would not be possible with the 8 ft waves breaking over the rock i had perched myself on the last day. with sanity taking hold i moved around the corner to a more sheltered mark. first cast was with the enigma and a fillet of mackeral for huss and conger. second rod was set up for wrasse.bites were far from instant but after half an hour the heavy rod registered a run. i wound down and struck and everything went solid. alas rig no 1 was consigned to the sea. this would repeat itself 3 times, me still with no idea as to what they are. this is approximately the 15 fish i have lost in this mark, rotton bottom and all.... while i was waiting for runs on the heavy rod i entertained myself wuth wrasse. i had 3 between 1.4 and 2 lbs, all on rag. lost a much better fish on peeler when my bait spun and masked the hook point. before long the evening began to close in and started to drizzle, so packed it in as the idea of walking over greasy rocks in semi darkness didnt really appeal
