Dingle beach, Co. Kerry 18th April

#1 Post by pete »

People:Me and mate

Duration: 3 hours

Tide:Flooding

Weather: Tropical

Bait:Razor, sandeel & lug

Rigs:1 hook running ledgers

Results: 2 bass

Catch and Release:: Yes both released

Report:Absolute blinder of a morning but still a nice wave coming up on to the small beach. Wasn't sure if the sun would put the fish off (was that nice was fishing in shorts & t-shirt!) but 30 mins into the session hooked 3lb fish in scissors on full razor fish. Lovely little fella and put a bend in the gravuell. Twenty mins later the mate picked up a slightly smaller one on peeler crab.

That was all the action we got but it was a real pleasure to be fishing in the weather irregardeless of the fish.
