Report:Fantastic day, sea like glass, Pollock and cod were hard to come by. Might be too calm, very slow drift. Nice weather to fish in.

Hey lads it was great to see a few rays showing but the bad news is I was talkin to a commercial fisherman about that yesterday and his words were 'oh yeah there is loads of ray over there, we got 10 boxes there a couple of days ago'. I have to say that I nearly got sick. What hope have we when they are clearing out inshore marks like that.

WATERFORD
was watching a boat pull a net in tramore bay last summer with loads off big ray really drunk me off :evil: :evil: .all the bays should be closed off from netting as they are nursery areas for a lot of fish.
