A method for Garfish is to take a small plastic juice bottle, punch a small hole in the bottom, thread some 50lb line through and out of the neck, tie a plain lead to the line...pull the line back and jam the lead tight into the bottle (makes it air tight)......tie a couple of long snoods (10" to 20") off the 50lb line (each with a small split shot to keep it hanging down) put a swivel at the back end of the 50lb and attach to your main line...yer in business!
The lead helps you get a good distance and keeps the aerodynamics well, wind back at a steady pace, Gars and Macks will hit you, if they're about.
I hope you can follow this :?
Tom.
