anybody got a date for the south shore open in september- a venue would help also.

the 26th sept fishing 2-7 the check in is in byrnes pub kilcoole from 10.30 to 12.30 , the beaches to be fished will be to the right of kilcoole section 1, to the left of newcastle section 2, fivemile pt. section 3, first prize is 500euro & a seiko watch & a load of tackle luggage , rod bag , a special rucksack , and a couple of trace wallets. there are a lot of cash prizes in the zones , and other prizes this promises to be a really good competition so every should come along. entries will be taken on the day, 20euro senior, 5euro junior , 8euro oap. optional pool 2euro.

sorry for not repling earlier but i was to busy fishing , the short answer is yes you do have to be a member of a club . the club must be affilated to the irish federation of sea anglers. however we will take your entry if you join our club , this will let you fish our competition on the day and you will be affilated for the following year to our club. we run 10 master angler competition per year best of 8 to count.
