Sutton. Drive as if you are going to Howth and when you get to Sutton crossroads, if you're coming from Portmarnock, drive straight on with the Hotel on your right, or if you're coming from Dublin, turn right at the lights. About half a mile down this road, you will see the coast on your right and a turning to the right along the coast road. You will see a small building on your right with car parking next to it - before the dinghy club. There are lug all the way along the wall there (worm casts). The mussel to the right hold rag, but can be quite heavily dug by commercial wormers.

The place always has at least 2 or 3 guys digging anytime I pass by. However, its the only place I know of too, that holds lug.
Theres a good stretch of it, so you shouldn't get in each others way. the only thing is, you dont know how many guys have been there before you arrived.

In Rogerstown estuary by Rush sailing club there is plenty of lug at low tide.
You usually have the whole place to yourself.
