10" starlites

#1 Post by Wes »

When dropping my brother out to collect his motorbike from the garage near the Red Cow, I came back through some small Ind Est. Coming through it there was a wholesalers called the Big Warehouse (I think).
I went in and had a look around, even though I havent got one of those cards that shopkeepers have, i still got in. When looking I came across a pack of fifteen 10" glow tubes. they're as thin as Starlites and even bright, colours are red, yellow and green. How much? €1 per pack!
As we know, sometimes starlites arent all that great and can get lost against a starry sky, not these huge things. I broke one and it lasted 16hrs, then got too dull for use.
Another item I saw was a "Bait Catcher", its handle was in the shape of a H with another bar going across the middle, had strong twine with 4 size 4 hooks on the end of 4 booms. That was €1 too.
Was the only fishing gear they had, and the Starlite things we'rent strictly for fishing either.
