Report:
kinda a spur of the moment trip as i got the car sorted early and with the weather so fine i had to wet a line. decided to try a new mark i fished a few weeks a go in the hope of conger and huss. first cast i got a few knocks, didnt really resemble anything so decided to reel in and investigate. when i lifted my trace from the water i had a 5inch scorpionfish impaled cleanly in the mouth on one of the 6/0s. decided to continue on with the big baits and ever cast resulted in bites, nothing huge although i did have one very positive bite with no hook up but still on such a fine evening i couldnt complain with the lack of fish.. i suppose i should pinch myself with the fact its still the end of march. think my fishing brain is a month ahead of where it should be..........
