Hi Brown,

I assume you are talking about Loch Ryan in Scotland - if so, you will find info here - http://www.stranraer.org/angling/sea_angling.html

Or some of the anglers belonging to the Carrick Beach & Rockers Club should be able to tell you more 0 they fish that venue each year.

You could try their website - http://cbrsac.org/

shore angling,

its a lsd hotspot. a few conger from the piers. small whiting and occasional plaice. rock marks for wrasse and pollack to 5-6lb.

the tope are few and far between. old house point is the best spot late in the summer. bullhuss from the shore are very rare.

boat fishing is different as there are a few good tope and huss to be had. tend to be better quality fish in that area but less prolific than other nearby areas.

send me a pm of when and where and i'll give what info you need.
why does yer last cast always take an hour?
