In a pre-Xmas Sea Angler, under the Shimano Mission there was a report of a 28lb Pollack from Redbay (presumably Co. Antrim). I was surprised it didn't appear in the Specimen Fish Awards.

Might have been caught from the scottish coast ,alot of the guys fish that side but leave from red bay ,so it might not count as an irish fish ,haven't heard much about that fish though .

Also seems a bit odd that the shimano mission boat pollack record is still being listed as Paul Berry's 25lb 12oz fish in the April Sea Angler.
Possibly a commercial catch?
