I will be in carrigaholt the week begining 19th March 07 and have spoken to Luke Aston,
skipper of the Clare dragoon http://www.fishandstay.com/boat/.

If we get the weather and can get around loop head, fishing for whitefish should be excellent.
If I can get a few lads together and some half decent weather, he will take us for 40euros a head. Anyone else up for it?

days i can go are probably 20th 21st or 22nd. there's a shore comp on 24th and boat comp on 18th, so its an awkward time alright

Nobody interested in this? Looks like a bit of high pressure coming towards the end of the week so should be able to get out. I'm going to feel fairly lonely with the whole deck of a Lochin 366 to myself. At least I won't have to silently curse anybody tangling my lovely braid line.
