Re: Who needs Money (Robson knows nothing)
Been watching this thread for a while and feel that I should throw my penny worth into the mix. It seems to me that the simple way to resolve this issue would be if the OP would do as he said he was going to, and post the pics from his mobile, no pics equals continued disbelief by some people and to be honest the claims seem to be a little outlandish to me. If I had landed a fish of that size I would have had a few scales from him and a load of pics of him, both would have served to prove the size and age of the fish.

Re: Who needs Money (Robson knows nothing)
I don't think anyone was asking for a specific mark. I certainly wasn't but if you don't put anything up except i caught a big fish there is little point in a forum such as this.round_ourway wrote:fs if he doesnt want to tell anyone were it is then thats his choice. fs the same people would chastise you for naming the same mark. wind yer kneck in
The original claim of a 113cm pollack would have broken the current irish record by several pounds. According to the ISFC its one of the oldest records on the books, set in 1904. Again if you can't question a claim such as this without being accused of all sorts what is the point of this forum.
It has now been changed to a 93 cm pollack. Still one of the biggest for a long time and he has my congratulations.

I feel the same mate, if no camera, i would have brought that specimen home to take a pic.kerrywez wrote:Been watching this thread for a while and feel that I should throw my penny worth into the mix. Re: Who needs Money (Robson knows nothing)
I questioned a post on here a while ago from a bloke in kerry catching loads of bass in an hour or something, and it showed his "website" not a report, just an advert, and i got ticked off for it. There are people on here take the time and effort to write true honest reports, some at great length, and reasonbly accurate.Personally i just dabble at seafishing as i trout and salmon fish as well.I try my best to give accurate reports.. a lot of blanks included.
