I would be very surprised if they dont last the test of time, these are serious reels. The company that build these reels have an impressive pedegre and have been making reels for a good number of years

Most every bit of kit that i have got in the last number of years has been based upon reviews from lads on the site who have used and tested the gear, they haven't put me astray yet

I take your word other people may not. iv used omoto reels before the akios range was launched so i wasnt looking for a cheap version you know i dont use multi reels fishing only on the boat. And i dont buy cheap shite i only ordered the reel to know for myself and others that are wondering about them. So just post some pics Andrew saves me doing it.

I dont need to see them i have an akios and il have the omoto by thursday. Just thought if someone posted pics of the changes made by akios it would clear things up.

If i had a product for sale for a 120euro and had people making a big fuss about it and then someone said i can get the same model in the USA for 70euro. Then people started to ask questions about is it just re badged model sold for a higher price and afer i said we changed parts in the reel and made it better and stronger etc. Id want to post pictures of the changes i made to to prove my point and so it sold well
