Re: donegal beach big flatties sat 8th may
lovely session, but am surprised no one has identified that the plaice is in fact a dab with unusual spots, a plaice would be slightly more rounded and the 'top' fin would stretch up to the head, check out somr pics on google image and you may see what i mean.

Re: donegal beach big flatties sat 8th may
thanks rab, i fished the huss mark about 4 weeks ago for 4 hours and did'nt even get a nibble. but with all the reports of mackeral and wrasse being caught out that way it might be worth trying againrab 525 wrote:well done lads, most ray ive caught in that area have taken rag mack combo over straight mack , al getting close to the time for trying that wee huss mark

Re: donegal beach big flatties sat 8th may
Well done everyone, brilliant fishing.
Don came up trumps again and took you's to a place that fished well
 good on him.
Well done Al mate on getting your new PB flounder and well done Jordan on getting your plaice.
It must have been amazing to see the dolphins and purpoises out in front of you - I would have loved to have seen it myself - I'm so jealous!

The food you organised for the lads sounds yummy Al, I'm going to go and have my lunch now because you've made me hungry at the thought of it.
