You could perhaps stop in Wexford on the way down, and get mackerel in Meylers beside the Bull Ring.Don wrote:Is there somewhere to catch/get fresh mackeral close by? I assume this is the only bait to use?

In short - no tope. Weather had started to break mid afternoon
so wasn't as pleasant as it had been for the previous 2 weeks. There was Coaster, Seaniebo, Don and myself. Quite a few doggies, and sean got a few smooth hound. Kevin had a few smut from more or less the same spot as Sean the previous night, with one small tope too, I believe.
