Re: Best of luck for Steyning
Thouroughly enjoyed myself, Great to see all the big names in the flesh and even better to see one of our own Andy Gormley right up there in the final shake down
Great to see pajo in the 250s and top wanging from Cracko, Lee and Dougal too. Ill be back every year as long as im alive, Steyning is an awsome place.

Re: Best of luck for Steyning
Had an absolute blast of a weekend, the usual SCI crack was 90 as per norm with plenty of side splitting action..
Great to see SOD and Dougal do so well on their 1st major overseas outing, well done men.. And with some massive distances put down from the top guys again, AG rising with the cream of casting and keeping the pace with the very best, putting Danny under some serious pressure!!! and within spitting distance of the magical 300 again, just awsome man!!
Conditions were very favourable on the sat but my god the 100 and 125 were a nightmare to tee up in the wind, i dont think i felt any of my 100's properly, it was just a case of get it behind me count, trun and belt the bejesus out of it,, but seemed to work out ok
.The sunday was a diff ball game, still some good wind but on the side for most of the day which made for some very interesting wanging to say the least... Overall team Ireland did exceptionaly well..
Big thanks to Mark, lisa, Andy and all the gang at Sussex casting club for the seemless running of a fantastic event, with hot lunch delivered to the field which was a really sweet touch, i think by now its an annual pilgrimage to the Down's. Great to meet all the UK and Scotish guys again and put some new faces to names, it was a pleasure to part of it all again..
Only got in late last night so plenty of pic's to follow and lee got a tone of vid, so looking forward to another one of his master-peicses soon...

Re: Best of luck for Steyning
An absolutely brilliant weekend, my sides are sore from laughing(and numerous rib spreaders) Team Ireland was really on form with all of us htting pb's and king kong was outstanding only being a whisker away from the magical 300yards.
met some great characters and the slagging was 90, especially with little and large from scotland
aside from the casting there are stories which are best off not repeated on a family forum the pensioners nightclub and the underwear incident
thanks to all the organisers and especially lee schumacher for the driving.
Have a few comical pics from the trip which is pitiful ammunition compared to what the lads have on me!
Dougal does steyning ...in all good book stores soon.
Next year cant come quick enough!
