If i had more time, i'd have loved to give kerry a proper go, quilty was a real surprise to me as i've never had any joy there in 20+ sessions, but I fished from low water and the first 90 minutes on the turn rather than my usual 2 hours before / after high water, would have gone for lahinch but there was a weed / surfer infestation :-)
Derrynane in particular looks a very interesting mark, but chatting to the lifeguard there he said the only bass were to fly fishing in the river mouth and the only flounder he'd seen all summer had been spear-fished by some lad with a kayak and spear gun !
