People:me

Duration:8:30am-12:30pm

Tide:l.w.@ 9:30

Weather:foggy,slight easterly with cold start but warming later on

Bait:mackerel

Rigs:one-up pennell rigs and pulleys,2/0 & 3/0 aberdeens

Results:3 thornies to 4lbs and a double figure conger

Catch and Release:: Yes

Report:arrived at the spot at 8 in the morning but with the lengthy walk didnt get fishin properly till nearly half past.spent the first hour and a half reeling in perfect baits as the crabs werent even hungry...soon after low water though the tide picked up pace and the 3 ray came in quick succession.then as it slowed down they stopped feeding.Was wondering had i spent my days look and was thinking of home of home when i got a walloping bite and proceeded to play what must have been a huge conger only for the line to cut towards the end :( seriously thinkin my luck had run out now i decided to have one last cast before home and five minutes later another monster battle with a conger fortunately i landed this one!!happy with my days work i packed up and headed home...definately this has to be the best mark on the estuary at the moment.
