Started off Fishing for Mack, Not many showing but enough scad for bait anyway We moved on and tried to hoke a Conger out of the small wreck near the harbour, sadly the tide was pushing us off the wreck and after half another with no fish we carried on to the Banks, Hoping for something big!

We started off on a couple of drifts along the Bank which produced Grey Gurnards, a decent whiting for me, and this dab which is probably my biggest this year.

Finally the tide Slackened and it was time to get the Anchor down, Everybody had blondes on there minds (I've always got Blondes on my mind!) and the Biggish baits went down. Sadly as we were fishing the Ebb there were no Blondes caught but there were a couple of the Smaller Ray Species to be had.

The tide started ripping through and soon it was hard to hold bottom with 1lb1/2 of Lead, So Sean suggested a move in toward some rough ground down near fair head.

A few Pollack showed but nothing terribly big. With that we headed back to port, A Good day, pity the Big ones stayed away...

Club competition ended up:
1st D McCormick
2nd Danky
3rd Me!!!! (I'm catching up!)

Nice wee session drew ,good to see your back out fishing again ,its a pity the blondes didn't play ball for you ,theres always next time ,looks like a foggy day though .
If someone shows you a mark to fish, respect it and dont pass it of as one of your own, dont tell every man and his dog about it.

Thanks Ronald, Dogfish Dave was up in the Harbour when we got in feeding the Mullet.... He also had a fishing rod, though I don't think he could co-ordinate the 2.... Oj, he had 2 Flounder apparantly...
