People:around 50

Duration:five hours 3pm to 8pm

Tide:incoming

Weather:overcast

Bait:rag, lug mackeral

Rigs:two up one down flappers

Results:an abundance of small flounder and turbot with one decent turbot of 36cms caught by carrick club member stuart langridge around 2.5 lbs the winner with six fish all flounder was willy weir east antrim surfcasters second 5 fish and third four fish name and clubs unknown

Catch and Release:: Yes



Report:although fish were mainly quite small it was nice to see a couple of decent turbot caught, and it stayed dry most of the time

2nd was Raymond Gibson and 3rd was Gary McCurry most of the fish came from the town end of the beach Gary beat me by 3 cm for 3rd spot :cry:
I thought about the one that got away and it did

Not that i know off they are few and far between on Ballycastle
