People: Just me one other and two kids

Duration: HT +2 for 4 hrs

Tide: HT @ 10.30

Weather: Overcast, warm, slight breeze rising

Bait: Lures

Rigs: Abu Krill and Poppers

Results: 1 x Codling approx 1lb

Catch and Release:: Yes

Report: Headed out and brought the gang as I though a mackerel bonanza might be likely.
Not a chance, its a barren wasteland out there. Took a nicely conditioned codling on a rusty silver 1 oz Krill after 90 mins fishing hard. Not a tap otherwise. My best codling from this venue ! (which is pathetic given its former reputation) it put up a nice scrap on the whisker.
Maybe 5 - 10 other parties bait fishing predominantly. Saw a couple of floating belly up undersize fish. I guess the R in C&R is a skill in itself.
