Tide: low tide 20:15

Weather: humid, overcast , no wind

Bait: frozen, mack squid sandeel

Rigs: pulley, single hook pat, silver spinner

Results: few mack, crabs

Catch and Release:: No



Report: more a reccy than anything else - had heard about a deep channel down this way - so went for a look when the tide was out

threw a few baits out - crabs - thought i had 1-2 bites but no connect

the mack were chasing the sprats - so said why not for a bit of bait

channel is deep and not snaggy in the spot i was into - will definitely be back - with a stronger running and higher tide

was so dead and humid even in darkness was perspiring

i think i know the area you're on about.... not 100% though, wouldn't mind giving it a bash if anyone is interested; right time of year for it too if i'm not mistaken
