Howth inside

Was out at howth today with a Little Zebco 1/2 oz casting spinning rod and size 16 sabiki lures - little setup I have for my 2 little lads, they had no interest and so I played away and caught a Goldshinny Wrasse ....... just posting because the CFB site says they are a rare catch. Also the site says that you dont catch Wrasse with artificials but this is the second time this year.....both with sabikis which are fish skin, so maybe they dont count as artificial...Anyway there didn't seem to be any Mackie bashers catching.
2009 - France, Italy, England, Scotland and Wales.....;-)
Edinburgh, Wasps, Castres, Harlequins, Munster and Leicester.......;-)
Now to add some fish:Cukoo,Ballan,Pollock,Coalie,Pouting,Conger,poor cod....mm needs more fish.. Mackerel, Dogie, Mullet Flounder...poor year so far....

Unknown Gilthead Bream like thing, got any pics.?
theres a pic. in my album of lure caught wrass + gilthead br.

No pics, but your photo 006 with the Bass and Newspaper looks bang on. Ther were the size of a hand, and caught at a pier wall up an esturary, would this be common?
