whitewater, malahide, 23/8/7

People: MAC jw

Duration: 1pm till 11pm

Tide: lw around 2pm

Weather: 20knots northerly then calm

Bait: mackerel

Rigs: tope rigs, sabikis, muppets

Results: launce mackerel doggies cod coalfish, TOPE and a friendly octopus jum jum

Report: too knackered to write it up. when it finally calmed down, anchored on the moulditch bank. Broken by two tope runs, landed 3, and 5 or six dropped runs. Great fun.

Nice one JW was watching you out there from the shore while out walking the dog.
Looks like a nice big boat.
Good luck on the shark hunt in Carrigaholt at weekend I will be trying the same thing out of Cobh.

Cough, jw has informed me that it wasn't perserverence- they just didn't fancy the tripback against the northerly!

great to the crew with big smiles on there faces and last but not least PFD'S on them aswell :shock: :lol: :lol:

just a taught i wonder had you got them on just because there was a 20knt wind blowing :wink: :lol:

i just noticed the last pic shows two tope on the deck with blind folds on and a pair of legs with no upper body shown is this because the fish seen somebody without a PFD on :lol: :lol:.

looked like an enjoyable day out there pity you couldn make it to where i told you to go as we had 17 tope and pleanty of dropped runs today,,,
great fun though

oh and pleanty of codling ,,,some decent whiting,,,and coalies
