I've also been using power pro for lure fishing for a good few years now. Never had any problems.

There's a guy on ebay sells it at a good price too. He's based in the UK. Proce works out about 1/2 the price you pay in Dublin.

Nice pics Cortaz....but I am amazed you got so close to that sparrowhawk! Even though it is one of this years young, they are an extremely shy bird and you are lucky to even catch a glimpse of one!

As for the fish, you never cease to amaze me! Do you go back at low tide and retreive all those lost lures?

I wont use fireline if i were u cortaz.For the ppl that used them once in the while i thinks its ok...but i dont think it will suit u since u always come with reports mostly every day.Fireline is a fused super line ie braid with coated.it will last long same as a braid....but it will irritate u after sometimes when the outer coat start to peel of here and there leaving braid core here and there unevenly.Its a bit stiffer compare to the normal braid due to the coating.I use fireline before,and discard the whole spool after the line coat start to peel off here and there leaving an irritating sound on every cast.Frequent use of the line will abuse them,specially in snag county.

went out with stan for 2 hours tonite from 7.30/9.30. got 1 lost 1 missed 2/3. stan had his first takes on surface lure, sadly he lost them both.

if i had the camera ready (had to delate some pics. first) when i first came upon him would have got some better pics. it spread it wings over the pray and hissed at me. :shock:
as for retreveing lost lures, get back about 1 in 10,, some of the rocks look like xmas trees.
theres a barn owl that sometimes flys/lands past my house goin try and get some pics. have got to whitin 20 feet twice did not have camera with me..lovely bird..

Saw that one in a tackle shop a few days ago....the price quite good,but hestitate since saw one of richie's back eyes fall a part last week...a bad batch maybe,btw his is a minnow not a pencil.How its sit on water??Flat??45 degree near vertical??

joe, they lay flat, seem to work best when you wind fast enough so that go along like a boat, i.e. "bow up".
was out in the a.m. and p.m. today, had a 4lber in the a.m. on homemade bar, in the p.m. had 2 hits on sammy hooked 1 for few secs. then had 1 schoolie again on the same bar.
from about 8.30 till 9.15 had about 20 big bass hitting the sprats around my feet, tryed everything, think they just charge the sprats, mouth open.
it would make some video, say they will be in same spot tomorrow eve.
