i was talkin to kevin( local skipper) and e sayed that a portabgle shark was at the pier before, took a guys mackeral off his feathers! lol dont know if its is true or not, just heard it off a few people!
was guessing porbeagle too when i saw it colouring looked right but it was over cast so colour rendering was bad. ya got pollock there too and doggies its generally a good pollock mark. have too say if i had a steel trace i might have given him/her a shot at the title
See them from most rock marks in Clare during the late summer autum not an uncommon site but I have a good mark where you can hook as many as you like using the same tactics as you would off a boat using a baloon as a float but more than likely I was dreaming and you will need maybe 400 yds 200 more of 40lbs line just to let em have the first run..................... i lost too much line its fun but you will need some amount of line just to out gun a porgie :D
sounds like a job for me and my uptider
