Any of the lads tried doing the xcast in the tournaments, just wondering is that the way big Danny casts never had the pleasure of seeing him in the flesh "no sorry I'll rephrase that" live.

Danny does do the x cast we all try to copy him some better than others, i have cast with him at the grand prixs and it is an awesome sight, he is posted on u tube casting 312 yards you would be better watching this and judging for yourself, his style is unique and very very powerful,

That post of the 312 was put up by me, although captured by PaddyC on this site. :wink:
I would agree that he was the first person to throw that style, but the Xcast seems to have a totally different starting position. There also seems to higher inswing with the xcast....
I'm not expert, just posting my thoughts on the various videos I have seen.
