I often hear about sea anglers using fish baits from the beaches around counaght has anyone tried two big lug on the one hook at night time on these beaches.

As in Clare and Kerry you would have a good chance of getting bass a short distance out in the surf using large lug the scent seems to be better.

Any time I used sandeel or fishbait on the Clare or Kerry
beaches I nearly always blanked but the lug always seemed to do the job.
