Hi lads i was thinking of getting a good second hand 50hp engine to replace my mariner 40 and was wondering if you could give me sum advice and what would be the best engine
to get and why

I have a 50 Suzuki 4 stroke [not for sale] and have found it to be excellent.
Can recommend!!

Thanks colin i heard suzuki were a good engine alright, have you ever
heard anything about honda or yamaha

Ive got a yamaha 60 4 stroke on my own boat,it starts very well and compared to a two stroke the fuel economy is excellent the only thing is that they are a fair bit more expensive so you have to balance out the pros and cons of the two types.
