Nice one there Cortaz.....is that on LC Sammy???Other than sammy...just wonder...is there any other LC line up that u have experiment with.....got a few wake bait type lure in my mind that i want to order since the top water/wake bait tend to produce a possitive effect.....i dont think bass ever saw the action of this type of lure before...maybe i am wrong....

joe,
i got the above bass on sammy, it made 3 lunges and missed slapped the lure near him he engulfed it almost in slow motion. my knees nearly buckled.
the other jon got on a 4in. "sure cast" popper blue/silver

Any significance to the camera's date being set to April fool's day of last year? :?
seriously, though, how do you find the hooks that some of the poppers /surface lures come with ? Do you change them? if so, what size / make? Some of the hooks look quite big for practical use - though maybe not looking at those fish.

dave the mid. hook on the sammy is normal size, the other 1 i changed after missin 20 bass in a few sessions, yesterday 1 hit 1 fish.
i always change to a bigger hook on kiltys/tobys 2 reasons 1 i lose fewer fish + bigger hook harded to swallow.

Well done on your first specimen bass of the year. That first picture you posted is excellent. You should put it up on the Specimen Hall of Fame!
