People: Me and the missus

Duration: 2 hours

Tide: Incoming

Weather: sunny with showers

Bait: Various lures

Rigs:

Results: Nothing

Catch and Release:: Yes/No

Report: The missus is a cork woman and her sister lives in Youghal so whilst visiting decided to get in a few sessions. First up was ballymacoda unreal amount of weed at this spot. Place was stuffed with Mullet and every once a while surface exploded with small sprats...something was chasing them but no joy despite trying all sorts of plugs and lures!
Next day hit Pillmore fishing into the channel as tide came in again plagued wth weed and no fish to report. Unfortunately our car was broken into... the missus left her bag on the back seat, real pain in the arse! According to the guards this happens all the time here so watch out if down this way!
If I had the time would have dug some lug might have had better results oh well I'll snare a Bass one of these days!

Tough luck jpmac. Myself and my son fished around Inchadonney and some coves west of there over 4 days and blanked. Again the weed was woeful. We also went to fish Roberts Cove to the east of Inchadonney and while we could see birds diving about 50/60 yds out every cast was getting weed. we gave up after 45 mins.
