People: Me plus 2 others

Duration: 2-3 hours

Tide:rising

Weather:usually fair-bad

Bait:lugs & spinners

Rigs:2 hook paternosters

Results: very little

Catch and Release:: Yes/No yes

Report: Spent last 2 weeks in Ardmore. Fished on shore and on boat. Was out every day. Fishing the worst I have ever experienced.
On Thursday 2nd fished Ballyquin at low water with tide rising. Conditions were perfect. Got a plaice and bass together but dropped bass in the surf..... the only one that I hooked in 2 weeks. Padraig caught a flounder. Both flats were small.

On 11th was to meet Cortaz at Cunnigar. My jeep sank in the sand and gravel on the inside of the bank. Even Cortaz's jeep could not pull it out. Luckily he managed to get a local farmer to pull it out with the tractor. 5 minutes later and it would ave been under water.

As well as being an excellent fisherman Cortaz is a most obliging person. Thanks a million to him for saving the car.

We fished for 2 hours afterwards but caught nothing,

Unlucky Stan,

The fishing seems slow all over at the moment.... I'm heading that way myself next weekend from some lure fishing for Bass, so hopefully I'll fair a little better.
