People:my self,,brother stephen and my uncle pat

Duration:4 hours or so

Tide:coming going

Weather:extremley nice

Bait:mackeral

Rigs:tope rigs

Results:landed 2 tope and pleanty of big huss ,,,

Report:was nice to get out and see my bro and uncle get there first tope,, found it hard to get the fresh mackeral though,,, they seem kinda scarce around the area or was it just me i wonder :roll:

nice tope ,''found it hard to get the fresh mackerel though,,''. your not wrong spent countless days days out in the boat and kayak with not much mackerel to show at all, i believe they are pletiful from dalkey to dunlaoghoire.

mackerel

nice tope well done.was up in chaore two weeks ago and the only mackerel we could pick up were when we nearly back in at pier after a lot of trying after running out of frozen mackerel and up there a month before and couldnt get any the east coast just dont seem to be as good for mackerel as south and west.

Three weeks ago we filled 2 buckets in an hour or so but i was out on Friday and struggled to get ten in half an hour. Out at the bouford bank they were more plentiful.

Dbrock, nice tope mate. Was out there on Saturday and picked up half a bucket at the start of cable rock on bray head. Got a few more when the tide slackened off near the mouldage.

yep was out my self on sunday had pleanty of mack on the spot we were fishing for tope plus we landed 9 more on sunday and as with tope fishing lost a few too

Free in the evenings alright. Think the weathers to be fairly muck though
