hey lads, i was thinking about geting one of these reels. does anyone have one of them or even used one? im just wondering if there worth the money? thanks in advance! chris

lets face it if you have an abu and like it, your gonna like the new models just as much :)

i cant really tell much difference between it or any other of my abu's. if your goin to get another reel, i'd suggest the 6500 chrome ct/cs rocket, i hate magnetic brakes, sand is forever getting in my mag elites.

Chris,

Have been and still am a hardcore Penn 525 fan for general beach work but picked up one of these for a lighter beach rod and I love it. The last abu I had was the green elite and swore I'd never buy one again for the rough and tumble of the beach but the new red high-speed is lovely
