People:me and tommy
Duration:2 hours
Tide:rising
Weather:horrible, wind and persistant rain
Bait:ragworm
Rigs:sliding float
Results:pollock, coalies, codling and wrasse
Catch and Release:: Yes
Report:could only stick 2 hours of that weather, my hands were numb in the end. but its good to see that orlock is starting to fish well again. nothing big unfortunately, biggest pollock was 32cm, codling 31cm, and the coalies and wrasse were pretty small. fingers crossed the weather picks up a bit so i can have a real session here. but it was a good couple of hours spent.

i've fished orlock alot over recent years mate and believe me there is some good fish to be had. as i said to you before, get some ragworm. its the best bait for orlock and will get you plenty of species. in my experience of orlock the float is the only way to go, even in rough conditions like today. the cod have started to show and i've caught them to 3 pound from orlock but i believe there is bigger.
