People: Me and Ally
Duration: Maybe an Hour
Tide: Can't really tell here
Weather: Rain then sun
Bait: Bread
Rigs: Bread about 6 foot behind a bubble float
Results: Nada.... Zilch
Catch and Release:: Yes/No
Report: After report from the Ally that there were plenty of fish moving the evening before, we both decided to give this spot a go. We decided to fish on the Malahide side close to the Rugby club as there was the odd fish showing there, nothing like the previous evening though according to my Gillie.
After no interest at all for over an hour we decided to call it a day. Just as we were leaving 2 Eastern Europeans arrived and started feathering away. :shock: I wonder what they know that I don't :wink:
Got the 1000 yard stare of herself when I arrived home and wanted to go out for a cast in the field.......... :roll: So it was back to work in the house. :cry:

Aaron, you can fish the mouth of the estuary at flooding tide. I used mackerel on a single hook rig size 1/0. Cast out just to the edge of the channel as the water floods over the lip. Dab and 1 2 1/2lb sea trout last time I was there.
Fish 2009; Whiting, Dab, Pollock, Short Spined Sea Scorpion, Flounder, Ballan Wrasse, Bass, Blennie, Tompot Blennie, Coalfish.
