Peelers are proving very hard to find at the moment. Does anyone have any other suggestions for baits that will attract the bigger Smoothies? Are fish baits worth a go? What about Razors?

This is a meet, not an MA comp, so feel free to share the info ;)

As Seanie says, you will probably have to get the peelers yourself beforehand, and it may be hard work. Squid is an alternative, and smoothies were stuffied with prawns earlier this year!

The weather is looking good for this one. Sunny on Saturday with SSW windows @ 16km/h. Hopefully the sea will have settled down after the gales and we won't be plagued with weed.
