Report: Up early to dig some lug on a beautiful Sunday morning. Went down to Garretstown with the wives and kids late afternoon, where we proposed to be good dads for a while and then stay on for the fishing later. Arrived in the middle of a thunder storm which didn't bode well. We all ended up sitting in the cars for a long while before it cleared up a bit. Sunshine broken by showers of varying intensity. Anyway got on to the beach and decided our chances of being hit by lightning were now slim. Fished away, but not one single bite. Plenty of wildlife, dolphins in close to shore for a while early on, shags or similar diving - saw them coming up with fish  and out a good bit further all the way along between the old head and seven heads were loads of gannets diving, so there were some fish somewhere just not for us.

Cheers Pete - razorfish eh? - maybe I should just head to Kerry :D (Tim who I was fishing with is moving there next week, so I 'll be down there soon - hopefully with a story to rival yours.)
I'll give the razor a bash next time, have some in the freezer - (any suggestions on presentation as I've never used it......?). Did so well on lug there last year, that I haven't considered anything else as bait down there since.
Obviously I attributed my poor showing to the slight north wind, the lightning, the calmness of the sea and the general obstinancy of fish, not my juicy lug  - maybe I should take you next time and you can show me how it's done.
