People:club comp

Duration:8pm till 1am

Tide:high then dropping :?:

Weather:patchy rain and s/e wind instead of n/e forecast

Bait:lug,rag,peelers,squid,mackeral and sandeel

Rigs:3 ups and pulley pennels

Results:flats,whiting,lsd's,ray,smoothys

Catch and Release:: Yes



Report:first 2 hours the fishing was non stop but seemed to die of in the later stages with distance casts required to keep in the fish.weed started to show in the last hour which didnt help but all round not a bad session with some crackin smoothys been caught

17 fish won the comp lads .The biggest smoothy was 68cm and tangled up both pegs to the left whilst trying to beach the fish i'm told[hilarious] :P .The ray was a thorny and measuresd 48cm wing span and fell to a sandeel at distance.I reckon their would of been more ray caught had their been a bigger tide :?:
