I fish along the dart lines too, but I tend to go out on the last dart at the weekends and come back on the first one. Night fishing is the way to go.
I haven't blanked recently at Killiney at all but then I fish nights as I say and the weed was an absolute nightmare the last time I was there and I only picked up two dogs, lost a few more with all the kelp catching the rigs on the way in. I was only able to fish one rod it was so bad and flappers were out of the question, single hooks only.
