I tend to keep them in the styrofoam box that I use to transport them, it depends also how long you want to keep them for.
Recently I brought fifty to Cork for a weeks holiday, some were'nt quite ready, so I kept them and picked the poppers over the week.
If they are ready to pop then just put them on damp newspaper in the box and into the fridge, if they are not so far on yet and you want them to come one then an inch of water for them to drink and some fresh seaweed, watch their mouths for bubbles so you can see they're drinking.
It's down to how far advanced they are.
2008 Species: Flounder, whiting, coal fish, Dogfish, rockling, dab.
