I would like to ask a question about the pier in Fenit.
I am fishing over there nearly every weekend in last two
months and i have catch only two dogfish.I am fishing for maceral aswell
but i didn't catch any of them. What is wrong with the pier in this year?
Where is all the fish gone?

Hi Zarat
Doggies seem to be gone from the pier for a while now I noticed that the numbers I had been had fallen over the last couple of years. Also if you were fishing for them during the day in the last couple of weeks you would not have much of a chance Doggies don't loike the sun I have heard.
I caught one last week at night at low tide.
There have been alot of ray being caught off the pier at the moment maybe there are a few skate around and they have been frightened off! :D
Also the pier goes through blank spells every now and again you could try fenit beach or banna beach again at night. Be careful of banna beach at night though probably beat to avoid it at weekends.
